Berkhamsted FC has announced plans to build a new 100-seater stand at the Glencar Community Stadium.
After a strong start to the season, which at the time of writing has seen the Comrades reach the second place in the Southern League Division One Central table, the club are looking to expand their stadium.
In a post on X, manager Chris Devane said: “Delighted to see the club flourishing off the pitch.
“Attendances are the highest they have been, off the pitch the club is getting better and better by the day.”
The club is also allowing fans and businesses to get their names on the seats of the new stand. Their new ‘Sponsor a Seat’ campaign means all 100 seats of the new stand can be sponsored for a donation of at least £150 for individuals or £150 plus VAT for companies.
A statement from the club said: “The new stand will be crucial for the Comrades, as we look to create a sustainable step three club and improve the matchday experience for fans.”
