The infamous Mud Pack Challenge will return to Ashridge Estate in Berkhamsted this month to raise funds for The Hospice of St Francis.
Taking place on Sunday, October 15, competitors help support the hospice by setting up an online JustGiving page.
Those who sign up to this very mucky event choose between a 7km or 14km challenge which sees competitors slide, climb and run an assault course consisting of more than 30 obstacles.
Claire, head of community and events fundraising at the hospice, said: “Tonnes of mud is being taken up to Ashridge House and the obstacles are starting to be built. Start waves are selling out fast, so snap up your place now if you would like to duck, dive, climb and crawl your way to victory! All money raised will help support people in our local community living with life-limiting illness. A big thank you to our sponsors British Gas, Ashridge House, Paul Stevens Personal Training and Framework Foundation.”
