Police are appealing for information after a fight between two motorists in Bushey. At around 11.20am on Wednesday, November 16, along the A41 between the M1 and close to the Toby Carvery roundabout, two male motorists were involved in an altercation. One of the men then got out of his car and assaulted the other motorist. The offender is described as a white man, of tall and thin build, aged in his late 30s, with a beard, a slight Irish accent and he was wearing a tweed cap and wax type jacket. He was travelling in a grey or silver coloured Vauxhall Astra. PC Rich Moore, from the Borehamwood Intervention Team, said: “The victim suffered a cut lip during the incident but thankfully was not more seriously injured. “I am appealing for anyone who saw the incident or anyone who has any information that could assist the investigation to contact me via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J2/16/1360. “Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
