YOUNG VOICES: Action-packed show in Radlett to ‘spread awareness and help others’

Published on: 22nd September 2025   |   By: Naomi Greenaway   |   Category: Uncategorized

A new charity talent show is coming to The Radlett Centre this month to raise money for Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

The show, taking place at 3pm on Sunday, October 19, will celebrate London Voice Coach’s 25th anniversary by showcasing talented young singers aged 18 and younger.

The event is not only to raise money and for visitors to enjoy a great show filled with music, but also to raise vital awareness of both diseases.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are both inflammatory bowel diseases which can cause painful ulcers and inflammation.

As both are lifelong conditions, those who live with them must manage them by taking medicines such as tablets, injections or even drips in the arm.

Hertfordshire-based vocal coach Natalie Austin has lived with Crohn’s since the age of six, and both diseases are present in her family.

Natalie said: “I trained at The Central School of Speech & Drama in acting and musical theatre and have taught singing for 25 years.

“The showcase is for my younger students to perform. I teach all ages and even have clients in their 70s!

“I wanted to make this a charity event to spread awareness and help others. The sky is the limit, and extra donations can be made on the day.”
