A Garston charity is inviting members of the community to learn more about local services at an upcoming summer fun day.
You Matter, based in the Meriden, offers support, advice and guidance to those in need.
Andre Best, founder of You Matter, is conscious that residents are often unaware of the services available to them or unsure of how to get access to the help they need.
Supported by Watford Borough Council and Meriden Residents’ Association, Andre has invited a wide range of service providers including Mind, Age UK and more to take part in a Community Services Fun Day. This free event, taking place in Meriden Park from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, June 9, is suitable for the whole family. There will be children’s activities and entertainment, as well as live music, motivational speakers and refreshments.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about organisations, charities and support groups based in the local area. Information packs, advice and help will be available on a range of services including adult learning, disability, financial matters, childcare, and housing services.
