Berkhamsted’s Medieval Festival will return to the town this August for its second edition.
The inaugural festival took place at Kitcheners Field and the cricket club in 2022.
After taking a break last year, the festival is set to return on the summer bank holiday weekend from Sunday, August 25, to Monday, August 26.
Several key attractions have already been booked, including the performers of Conquest Living History, who will be accurately reenacting battles between knights in shining armour. They will also recreate a mock-up of a medieval village and teach residents how to fire a longbow.
Two falconry organisations will also be attending, with birds such as Russian steppe eagles and spectacled owls performing aerial displays.
Guests can also expect food and refreshments, roving entertainers, a fire-eating performance, puppeteers, and much more.
Tickets are not yet available and further details will be announced in due course.
