Emergency crews were called to a building site in St Albans this morning (February 18) after a man working on the fifth floor of redevelopment suffered a suspected heart attack.
The man was taken to hospital in an ambulance after they arrived at the site off Bricket Road.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: “We were called at 8.59am to Bricket Road, St Albans, by the ambulance service to reports that a man, aged in his 50s, had become unwell or suffered an injury while on scaffolding.”
The fire and ambulance service also attended.
Police say the Health and Safety Executive has been made aware and are due to attend the site.
