Talent is something that has been handed down through the generations in Bushey, as residents of a care home awarded prizes to young artists from St Hilda’s Preparatory School.
Embracing the opportunity to showcase their creativity, students from the school submitted many vibrant and imaginative entries to the judging panel, which comprised of residents from Bushey House Beaumont Care Home.
During a special celebration at St Hilda’s on Friday, April 4, residents Kathy and Kathleen had the pleasure of presenting the delighted winners with their well-deserved prizes, including lots of Easter treats.
Kathy said: “It was such a pleasure to see all the colourful drawings.”
Kathleen added: “The children put so much effort into their artwork, and it was lovely to be able to reward their creativity.”
Bushey House Beamont also extended their congratulations, saying: “A big well done to all the children at St Hilda’s who participated in the competition with their fantastic drawings.”
