Detectives investigating an incident in Hemel Hempstead are appealing for witnesses and information.
On Friday May 7, at around 3.30pm, two men were involved in a physical altercation in Cattsdell.
It was reported that one of them was in possession of a crowbar, and the other man was allegedly armed with a hammer.
No one sustained any injuries. It is believed that both involved parties are known to each other.
Detective Constable Nina Garrard, who is investigating, said: “This incident happened in a busy residential street, at a time when lots of people would probably be on their way to school pick-ups and we believe that several people may have witnessed the altercation taking place.
“If you did, and have not yet spoken to police, please get in touch as soon as possible. Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation.”
If you have any information, you can contact DC Garrard directly via email at nina.garrard3@herts.pnn.police.uk.
