WITNESS APPEAL: Police appeal for information after road traffic collision in St Albans

Police are appealing for witnesses, information, and dash cam footage following a road traffic collision in St Albans. According to reports, at around 4.10pm on Thursday, January 8, the driver of a silver Honda Jazz collided with a pedestrian on Marshalswick Lane, close to the crossroads adjoining Marshals Drive and Jersey Lane.

Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service. A 48-year-old man was taken to hospital after sustaining serious head injuries and multiple fractures to his body. The driver of the Honda Jazz remained at the scene while officers conducted enquiries, which are still ongoing at this time.

PC Charles Lumm, who is investigating, said: “I understand that this collision occurred some weeks ago, but following new information being received, I am appealing for anyone who has information about this collision to contact me. If you have any dashcam footage or witnessed the incident, I want to hear from you.”
