WITNESS APPEAL: Father and son assaulted by group in St Albans park

Eyewitnesses are being sought after a father and son were attacked in St Albans.

The incident occurred between 6pm and 7pm on Monday, May 29, when it is reported that a teenage boy and his father were assaulted by a group of children and teenagers in Clarence Park.

The father sustained several injuries, including a cut to the side of his face, a fractured eye socket and suspected bruising to his ribs.

PC Grace Kimber, from the St Albans Local Crime Unit, said: “This was a distressing incident, and our enquiries are continuing.

“If you were in the area at the time and saw anything, please get in touch. Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation.
