A church in Chalfont St Peter was transformed into a winter wonderland last month.
From February 5 to 12, Gold Hill Baptist Church celebrated C.S. Lewis’ much-loved novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with its first-ever Narnia experience. Approximately 2,400 visitors from local schools, community groups and the wider village community came through the doors for a tour around the magical world of Narnia.
More than 100 volunteers worked together to help make the experience a reality.
Stephen Walker-Williams, pastor team leader at the church, said: “We are so grateful for the time and skills that were donated to making the event a success. This has been an amazing start to our 250th anniversary, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with other events in the village.”
