WELL BEATEN: Kings Langley hail their opponents

After some good early pressure against today’s opponents Stourbridge, Kings Langley fell behind after Roddy Collins picked up a very harsh yellow card and Stourbridge took the lead from the penalty spot.

But they weren’t behind for long. Kyle Connolly found himself in the right place at the right time after Stourbridge failed to clear a low cross, and he blasted it into the top corner from close range.

But it was Stourbridge who went into the half time break ahead after the Lango failed to clear a long throw.

After the break Kings Langley huffed and puffed to try and get back into the game but Stourbridge scored goals in the 72nd and 80th minute to seal victory.

At the final whistle, Kings Langley paid tribute to their vistors.

They tweeted: “A strong second half from our visitors means they leave the @orbitalfastener stadium with all three points.

Kings Langley are next in action against AFC Dunstable in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
