Hemel Hempstead Town FC have announced the immediate appointment of a new manager, Bobby Wilkinson.
Bobby has signed a two-year contract with the club after the departure of Brad Quinton in March and Alan Dowson in April.
A statement from the club said: “Following a thorough recruitment process, Bobby emerged as the standout candidate, boasting a wealth of experience and a proven track record wherever he has gone.
“Following this process, Bobby has agreed to come in earlier than planned so he can get to work immediately, based on the current scenario.
“With his extensive background at clubs like Hungerford, Wealdstone, and most recently Weymouth, Bobby brings a deep understanding of the challenges inherent in our league and the immediate task ahead of us going into a crucial week in our season.”
Bobby will be joined by assistant manager Mike Percival. The pair will need to get to work swiftly, as the Tudors currently sit in 20th position in the National League South table as HEMELnews went to print.
