Wealdstone FC have scored eight goals in three games, the most of any side so far this season, and continue to impress with a 4-0 victory over Braintree Town.
From the first whistle, The Stones piled on the pressure which the home side struggled to contain.
After 20 minutes Wealdstone played the ball out from the goalkeeper and down the left wing where Dennon Lewis drilled a cross into the box and the defender, Ollie Saunders, deflected the ball into his own net.
Braintree managed to hold the line at the back for the majority of the game, however, concentration slipped in the final 15 minutes where Danny Green, Jake Sheppard and Billy Clifford all found the back of the net thanks to quick thinking from the Wealdstone players.
After the game, first team manager Dean Brennan said it was a “very good” team performance and said their next game on Tuesday nightagainst Chippenham will be a “dangerous” side to beat with their new signings.
The Stones look to continue this fantastic form at The Vale against the well-performing side in the hope they can add another three points to the table.
