Two of the Chalfonts villages have been hit with numerous water problems on the roads recently, causing traffic chaos.
The longstanding issues on Gorelands Lane in Chalfont St Giles has continued, despite work done in the summer including a new road surface being laid out in July.
A burst water pipe also caused problems in Little Chalfont, with the pressure of the rupture causing a hole to be blasted into White Lion Road on Tuesday, November 23.
Crews from two stations had to be called in to deal with the problem, which affected all nearby roads in the area as well.
Maintenance from Affinity Water led to roadworks that lasted for another week, leading to heavy traffic for that week.
A third incident happened on Saturday, November 27, where a water mains pipe also burst on the A413 by Chalfont St Giles, leading to water spilling onto the road.
