Last month, Kings News reported on several instances of flooding which have badly affected both Kings Langley and Chipperfield over the winter months.
Despite an improvement in the weather, the problem has continued.
The issues in Nunfield have previously been reported, but Chipperfield resident Lindsey Mills states that there are still serious problems occurring on the road.
She told Kings News: “Sadly, nothing has changed apart from two signs saying ‘flood’. Afterwards, a council worker came and walked through the huge puddle, looked in it and left. So we still have our lake!”
Elsewhere, Kings Langley’s resident firefighters were called to tackle floods in the village. They attended an incident of water coming into three houses on Toms Lane on Saturday, March 2.
Villagers have praised the actions of the local fire station. One of the residents whose house was flooded took to the Kings Langley Matters Facebook group to sing their praises.
He stated: “Once again, a huge thank you to everyone at Kings Langley fire station who came to our flooding aid again.
“Super professional, helpful and friendly crew who always have a smile on their faces even when dealing with challenging circumstances.”
Hertfordshire County Council has been contacted for comment.
