WAS THIS YOU? Appeal for couple who took Kings Langley crash victim to hospital

Published on: 3rd February 2020   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Kings Langley are appealing for a couple who stopped and helped at the scene to come forward.

A Volkswagen Passat, a Mini Countryman Cooper S and a Renault Trafic were in collision on the A4251 Watford Road close to junction 20 of the M25 on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

Whilst enquiries have been ongoing for some time, there are still lines of enquiry police need real assistance with.

The couple took one of the crash victims to hospital.

Police constable Ben Powell, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “I appreciate this incident took place in the summer, however we are continuing to make enquiries into it.

“I am particularly trying to trace an elderly couple who stopped at the scene of the collision.

“It is thought they assisted one of the parties involved by taking him to hospital as he had a large cut to the front of his head.

“If this was you, you may have valuable information which could help the investigation, please do get in contact by calling 101.”
