The Harrow National Trust has organised a talk at Pinner Village Hall next month.
The Wellcome Trust is the life and legacy of Sir Henry Wellcome, who co-founded the pharmaceutical firm Burroughs and Wellcome.
The Trust is the largest charitable fund-giver in the UK and so worth exploring. Ann Rattue, a retired College Lecturer, will explore his work and importance.
Apart from giving a number of talks, Ann is an Ambassador for the Charity quirkily called Send a Cow which is a British charity helping very poor farmers in East Africa out of poverty, and into good health. She will donate her fee to this worthy charity.
The talk gets underway on May 10 at 8pm. Visitors are welcome. Entry charge is £2. Free Parking.
