After several back-to-back losses, Hemel Hempstead Town FC (HHTFC) are looking at a brighter future heading into 2025, following the signing of new first team manager Lee Allinson.
The 40 year old has an extensive managerial history, having managed Biggleswade Town and been assistant manager at St Albans City.
Before joining the Hemel side, Lee spent five seasons with Hendon FC, winning the London Senior Cup in 2020, making it to the final of the London Senior Cup in 2022 and 2024, and cementing the club’s spot in the Isthmian Premier League.
Shortly after his arrival at HHTFC, Lee signed three young stars: Kai Brosnan, Samuel Adenola and Joe White, all arriving from his former club Hendon FC. The trio have moved up from the Isthmian League to join the Tudors in the National League South.
Speaking after his debut game as manager, a fantastic 3-0 win against Weymouth, Lee said: “It felt great, more pleasing for the players really. They’ve had it really tough for the last 15 games. We’ve come in and given them some fresh ideas.
“I’m very lucky to get the three boys into the club because they turned down offers elsewhere, and that shows their loyalty to me but also that they want to play for HHTFC, and that’s important and the kind of environment I want to create.”
Lee’s boys will hope to secure some more wins as the season continues.
