The organiser and host of a planned Heat or Eat music event due to take place at the Henderson Hub in Abbots Langley, has confirmed that the event has been pushed back to March.
The charity event raises funds for Age UK and was set to feature a mix of local music. It was initially hoped it would take place in November, before it was then set for Thursday, December 12, but had to be cancelled the day before.
Musician Alex Scott said it had to be cancelled because he ran out of time to deliver the event.
He told Abbots News: “I was hoping to do it in November, but everything was incredibly tight. The event is not going to be a one-off.”
In a post on Facebook, the Henderson Hub said: “The Henderson Hub are very sorry to announce that this event has been cancelled and we apologise for the short notice and inconvenience caused.”
The Henderson Hub confirmed that all tickets would be refunded.
Alex told Abbots News that he has set a target of £3,000 to raise for the event.
