Herts Police have confirmed to MyNews the multiple stabbing in Vicarage Road was an “isolated incident” which involved two men and woman.
What we know now:
• The stabbing down Vicarage Road, Watford which happened in the early hours of this morning (July 3) involved two men and one woman.
• Herts Police have confirmed that the victims were a man in his 40s, another man in his 30s and a women in her 30s. All are still being treated in hospital.
• It is believed it is an isolated incident and the people involved are known to each other.
• Enquiries are continuing at this time but there is no perceived threat to members of the community according to the police.
Police have still cordoned off Vicarage Road in Watford and a police investigation is ongoing.
At 3.17am today (July 3) police were called to Vicarage Road, Watford following a report of an incident where three people had sustained stab wounds.
Officers attended alongside the ambulance service. Three people were taken to hospital.
Armed officers and a dog unit were sent to the scene to support local officers due to the nature of the incident.
Due to the road closure, surrounding roads and routes into Watford have been affected by traffic.
Watford General Hospital is advising patients to access the hospital via Thomas Sawyer Way.
Witnesses to the incident, or anyone else with information, are asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via 101, quoting reference ISR 49 of July 3.
