Residents were up all night recently after construction works created unavoidable disruption and noise throughout the night.
The work was being carried out near Stanmore Station leaving residents in the nearby area annoyed.
One resident took to Twitter to contact TfL and express their discontent at the development noise.
They wrote: “The whole street didn’t sleep a wink last night due to work going on in the station grounds at Stanmore tube.
“Surely this is breaking noise pollution laws. It’s ridiculous. Do the repairs in the daytime.”
A TfL spokesperson said: “We apologise to our neighbours in Stanmore for any disruption caused by work near the station. The work that took place there in the last few days was important, unplanned repair work to fix a fault, which was vital to ensure we could continue to run a full service.
“That work has to take place at night when trains are not running. We have now finished this work so there should be no further disruption, but we have reminded our engineers of the need to keep noise to a minimum when completing repairs on the network overnight.”
