Chalfont St Peter’s 3-2 win over Chipstead means the side round off August unbeaten in all competitions.
In a game that saw three penalties, Chalfont managed to hold onto their lead and see out the 90 minutes. Luke Jones elegantly converted a free kick some 25 yards out on the left hand side.
Just four minutes later Chipstead equalised from the penalty spot, converted by Samuel Clayton.
The second half saw more action as The Saints’ Riccardo Alexander-Greenaway converts a 56th minute penalty and Zayd Ait-Fahim pokes one in after a rebounded shot falls to him.
Chipstead had the last laugh with another penalty in the 90th minute and was put away by Samuel Clayton.
Celebrating their magnificent form, The Saints are back in action on Tuesday evening (September 3) with a league fixture against Hanwell Town.
