Police were called to Watford in the early hours of this morning following reports that a man had sustained serious facial injuries.
Officers were called to Market Street at around 1.35am today (Thursday, February 23) alongside the ambulance service and a man was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not being treated as life threatening. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and affray in connection with the incident.
They remain in police custody at this time.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “Officers carried out fast-time enquiries and a search of the area was conducted.
“Two men were subsequently arrested at an address on suspicion of GBH and affray. They remain in police custody at this time.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances around the incident and how the man came to sustain the injuries.
