Amersham Museum has added a new walk to its programme, taking visitors on a tour of filming locations across the town.
The walk, titled Midsomer Murders & More, takes visitors to a variety of filming locations for hits such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, The Killings of Copenhagen, Last Man Out and, of course, Midsomer Murders.
Museum director Briony Hudson said: “The proximity to Pinewood Studios and the charm of Amersham and surrounding villages made it a popular location for the British film industry from the earliest days to the present.”
Midsomer Murders & More takes visitors to a range of filming locations in a circular five-mile walk, which includes a short detour in the meadow alongside the River Misbourne, before returning to the station via High & Over.
The first walk will take place on August 19, with the next scheduled for October 21, starting from Amersham Station.
