Gameshow host Vernon Kay has been will be hosting a unique live game show at the Moor Mill Beefeater restaurant in Radlett, with the public invited to come down to enjoy the festivities In celebration of Beefeater’s 40th year. The gameshow dubbed ‘The Hungry Games’, will see Vernon, the Boss of Beef, pitting eight families against each other in a number of challenges, such as a ‘Wacky Waiter Relay’ and ‘Blindfold Sundae Challenge’ on September 6. Families from across the UK have been hand chosen after completing activity packs inside their local Beefeater restaurant, and are competing to win the grand prize of a two-week 5* motorhome holiday from Amber Leisure, while also being presented with additional spending money and The Hungry Games trophy. Vernon said: “Everyone knows I love a good game show! I’M really looking forward to hosting The Hungry Games in Hertfordshire and meeting the contestants and all the local residents that come down for the day.” Sarah Tinsley of Beefeater said: “We’re thrilled to launch this unique experience in Hertfordshire, and all are welcome to watch our competing families and Vernon as they stake it out for the much coveted Hungry Games trophy. With great food and fun activities all day we’re sure September 6 will not be one to be missed.”
