Police have confirmed that the body of a missing woman has been found in Watford.
Annette, 54, was last seen leaving her home in Cassiobury Park on Tuesday, November 16.
A social media post written by Annette’s sister in law said: “It is with deepest sadness to let you know that the police found Annette’s body last night. There are no suspicious circumstances. We are devastated. Thank you for your words of support and actions of kindness over the last few days.”
Hertfordshire Police confirmed: “A body has been recovered in the search for missing 54-year-old Annette from Watford.
The sad discovery was made at the Grand Union Canal, Watford, at around 11.30pm last night (Wednesday, November 17).
Annette was reported as missing on Tuesday (16 November).
Though the body is yet to be formally identified, Annette’s family have been made aware. The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
