A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a van in Northwood this morning.
Police were called to Sandy Lane in Northwood at around 9:40am this morning (Thursday, May 13) following a collision between a van and a pedestrian.
Road closures were in place at the scene between The Wood and Batchworth Lane, allowing officers to deal with the incident but the roads have since reopened.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at 9.41am today (Thursday 13 May) to reports of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian in Sandy Lane, Northwood.
“The ambulance service were also called and the pedestrian, a man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
