An appearance on BBC Radio proved to be a “special experience” for the man behind the famous Buzz Bus.
Peter Lyle, 76, created the bus decorated with Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear designs out of a passion for the movie series.
What started as a love for the Pixar world back in 2011 has now turned into an adventure involving publicity and fans across Hertfordshire.
On October 28, the Garston resident headed to the BBC Three Counties Radio studio to guest star on the Breakfast Show, hosted by Andy Collins.
Speaking to GarstonNews, Peter said: “This was a really special experience for me. To have the opportunity to meet Andy, show him around the bus and talk about something that means so much to me personally was absolutely fantastic. It was a great opportunity to get the word out there about the official Buzz Bus.
“I’m just a bloke with a big passion for what I do. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.”

Peter was grateful to the BBC for sharing his journey
