A mini-festival of cycling is set to take place in Rickmansworth as part of National Bike Week.
Hosted by Woodoaks Farm on Saturday, June 3, and organised by Willesden Cycling Club and local cycle group SPOKES, several fun events will take place.
The day will begin with the annual Tour de Ricky long-distance races of 50km, 100km and 200km in an Audax format, which encourages riders to support each other and make friends.
From 10am onwards, SPOKES will lead several rides of between five and 30 miles at either a slow or medium pace.
Also on hand at the farm will be the Watford Cycle Hub, who will be dispensing advice and providing free bike health checks, and Hertfordshire Police, who will be handing out crime prevention advice.
SPOKES chair Peter Jackson said: “This day offers something for almost every road cyclist and we’re looking forward to meeting people and showing them some of the great cycling there is around South West Herts.”
