Watford FC will face Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup Third Round at the beginning of next year.
Vladimir Ivic’s men are currently third in the Championship, and will face a difficult test against the side who are currently eighth in the Premier League.
The two sides beat each other last season before Watford’s relegation, with the Hornets picking up a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Troy Deeney and Ismaila Sarr.
United got their own back at Old Trafford though, with in-form Bruno Fernandes notching his first goal for the Red Devils in a 3-0 victory.
The sides last met in the FA Cup back in 2007’s semi-final, with United victorious in that tie at Villa Park before losing the final against Chelsea.
The Hornets will hope for an improvement on their cup form, after they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the second time of asking in September against Newport County.
The tie is set to take place on the weekend commencing January 9.
