Staff and students at Northwood College for Girls are celebrating achieving the highest possible ranking in every category in a recent school inspection report.
Conducted by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), the non-profit organisation who look into the standards of independent schools across the country, the inspection took place over four days in November of last year but has only recently been published.
The report focuses on two key outcomes: the achievements of pupils at the school (including how they’ve developed academically) and their overall wellbeing and personal development.
Now with the results revealed, it’s shown that Northwood College for Girls has scored an ‘Excellent’ rating in both categories, the highest result possible.
Headteacher of the school, Mrs Brown said: “I am absolutely delighted and filled with pride to receive the phenomenal ISI report.
“We know that together our NWC family makes up a phenomenal force and this feedback is testament to the sheer hard work, dedication, commitment and support that is shown every day by our teachers, support staff, pupils and families.
“I wholeheartedly thank all of our staff, pupils and their families who make this school such a very special place to be.”
