“It’s time for action” is the simple message shared by Kings Langley & District Residents’ Association (KL&DRA) after an application was submitted to build 150 homes on green belt land.
New homes, an education centre and a community building are included in the application submitted by Hill Residential Limited and Silversaw Limited.
Reportedly 50 per cent of the new homes on land off Chipperfield Road will be affordable.
On Tuesday, February 4, Kings Langley Parish Council held a planning meeting in which they voted to oppose the plans.
Speaking to KINGSnews, KL&DRA commented: “This is another proposed development which further exacerbates the volume of traffic through the village, does not provide any more school places or healthcare facilities, and includes ‘affordable’ housing provision that is not affordable at all.”
The agents for the application have been contacted for comment.
