Officers investigating a serious collision in Watford are appealing for witnesses and information to assist with enquiries.
At around 8pm on Thursday, July 17, a red Mitsubishi EVO and a black BMW IX3 were involved in a collision in Tolpits Lane.
Officers attended the collision along with colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service.
Three men who were travelling in the red Mitsubishi EVO were taken to hospital by paramedics.
One man, aged in his 30s, sustained serious head injuries which are deemed to be life threatening.
Another man, aged in his 20s, suffered head injuries which are not deemed to be life threatening.
A third, aged in his 20s, sustained minor leg injuries.
Sergeant Tim Davies from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “As part of our investigations, I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the collision or was driving in the area at the time of the incident to please contact police.
