A group of rowdy concert-goers disrupted a show by 70s pop legend Leo Sayer on Sunday night.
The five adults began shouting at the star, whose hits include The Show Must Go On and One Man Band, when he came on stage at the Alban Arena in St Albans.
A member of the audience said: “They began shouting at Leo Sayer as soon as he came on.”
“One women, who called herself Katherine, tried to talk to him and they continued to talk and sing through the first half of the show.”
“Leo Sayer himself had asked them to be quiet twice and other people in the audience shouted: ‘Go home.'”
A spokesperson for Alban Arena said the group were asked to leave and did so at the interval.
One person who was there, said: “Who would have thought there would have been trouble like that at a Leo Sayer concert of all people?”
“He stayed true to his song The Show Must Go On and carried on in the second half without any more trouble.”
