Watford FC’s veteran goalkeeper is becoming quite the social media star with his new YouTube channel ‘The Cycling Goalkeeper’ with him hitting the landmark recently of 150,000 subscribers.
The 37-year-old uploads a variety of different type of video, including behind the scenes footage at the club’s training ground, go-pro footage of games behind the goal, and his love of cycling.
His aim is for people to feel a little bit closer to the match day action and promises laughs and plenty of giveaways too.
Speaking to ESPN, Foster said: “When we’re on camera filming away, I just try to show people know that’s how I deal with football. And I’ve found the best way I can deal with it all, is how I am now.
“This YouTube stuff has opened so many more doors … but people are really watching it! Even for the cycling videos, I’m getting 100,000 views. This is amazing. It’s working. I love it.”
