From October 31 to November 4, Abbots Langley High Street played host to BBC film crews as well as comedian, actor, and Taskmaster presenter, Greg Davies.
The crew was filming the second season of BBC’s dark comedy, The Cleaner. The show, written by Davies himself, follows Paul “Wicky” Wickstead, a “cleaning technician” that is responsible for removing signs of death from crime scenes.
The electrical store, Sheffields, could be seen strapped in white and blue police tape and numerous extras were spotted dressed in white plastic overalls.
Residents may also have heard a buzzing over the course of the week as filming drones were deployed to record long shots of the town.
The second season is yet to have a confirmed release date, though is expected to air some time in 2023.
