A Hatch End tennis club is hosting a thrilling final, with the winners getting the chance to play on the iconic courts of Wimbledon.
Over the last few months, entrants from across the county have been battling it out in the Play Your Way to Wimbledon competition. The players first competed locally, with the winners moving to the county/area finals.
The winners will have the exciting chance to play at the national finals at Wimbledon later this year, in the singles pathway, doubles pathway and disability pathway.
The area finals (adult ladies and men’s doubles) were set to be held at Hatch End Lawn Tennis Club in Pinner on June 22, as Pinnernews went to print.
Vikas Dabral, the chairman of the club, told Pinnernews: “We’re thrilled to be hosting such an exciting tennis event.
“It will be great to watch and we welcome others in the community to join us.”
