Members of a long-standing Chorleywood theatre school are celebrating after securing a long-term home in the village.

As part of a significant new leasing agreement with Chorleywood Parish Council, the CK Theatre School, which has been a fixture of village life since 1977, will now be based at the War Memorial Hall on Common Road.

Located in the heart of Chorleywood, the school offers an array of classes tailored for various age groups and skill levels within the performing arts.

Having searched for a base in the village for a while, principal Lucy Stills shared her excitement at the school’s new chapter.

She said: “Securing this new studio not only provides a stable foundation for CK Theatre School, but also enables us to expand and enhance our educational offerings in dance, drama and the performing arts.

“We are deeply committed to the community that has supported us since 1977 and look forward to bringing even more exciting new opportunities to our students and the children of Chorleywood and the surrounding areas.”
