A St Albans author has released a new thriller which explores love, loyalty, betrayal, and the power of a mother’s determination.
Hazel Eggleton is a linguist by profession. Now retired, she spends her spare time writing novels, including two hugely successful children’s ghost stories and two psychological thrillers.
Her latest novel, A Mother’s Love, is set in a quiet Cornish town and follows main character Meryan after she confesses to her husband’s murder.
Hazel explains: “I wanted to explore the theme of how far a mother would go to protect her son.
“I love creating atmospheric, tension-filled situations, fraught with danger, and therefore I like writing thrillers and ghost stories. It is an action-filled page-turner but there is also a lot of psychology in the book revolving around family relationships.”
A Mother’s Love is available online and from shops.
