The school is still open, but only to children of key workers.

Headteacher Graham Cunningham said: “I am very proud to announce that Miss El Boukeli has today completed the manufacture of 132 face visors.

“She has done this in conjunction with Mr Reeves who many of you will remember as a former staff member. Longdean’s share will be 62 of these masks. I will be delivering them to Hemel and Watford hospitals on Monday next week.

“I am immensely proud and humbled that our school community continues to do their bit to support those who are working tirelessly to help people get better.”

The school has also delivered food and drinks to doctors and nurses, ranging from cereal bars, fresh fruit, cup a soups, juice cartons and cereal.
