Moor Park Post Office will temporarily close for extensive building work at 8 Main Avenue, Northwood, HA6 2HJ, to modernise the premises.
To allow for the work to take place, the branch will temporarily close on Wednesday, April 14 at 5.30pm and it is envisaged that the work will take approximately three weeks. The branch is due to re-open on Tuesday, May 4 at 1pm.
During this temporary closure customers can access Post Office services from any convenient branch including:
- Tolpits Post Office, 79-83 Tolpits Lane, Watford, WD18 6NT
- Rickmansworth Post Office, 64 High Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1AA
The new local style branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services at a low-screened, modern serving point alongside the retail counter.
New opening hours will be introduced: Monday to Sunday: 6am – 10pm. This is later closing every day.
A new postmaster will be reopening Moor Park Post Office after the renovations.
Graham Simmons, Post Office Network Provision Manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
