The Pinner Safer Neighbourhood Team and Metropolitan Police Harrow have had a busy few weeks recently.
On Thursday, September 19, police were called after reports that two males armed with hammers attempted to break into Tesco Express on Uxbridge Road, Hatch End. The men managed to make off, and police are continuing enquiries.
On Saturday, September 28, the Pinner South SNT shared on their X account that they had conducted a welfare check.
The post said: “Officers conducted a periodic welfare check at the address of a vulnerable Pinner resident and walked out with two men arrested.
“One man was wanted for failing to appear at court for a drink driving offence; the other man was wanted for indecent exposure.”
Then, on Tuesday, October 8, Metropolitan Police Harrow posted on their Instagram that officers from Headstone had safely removed a firearm found at a property that they were clearing out.
The post said: “This is now safely stored away in police property and awaits specialist officers to ensure it is made safe and then disposed of.”
