A Nazi symbol has been drawn on a post in Stanmore common for the second time in six months.

In November issue of StanmoreNews, Liberal Democrat councillor Paolo Arrigo saw swastikas graffitied on posts and a nature map in Stanmore Common on October 26.

A dog walker, who frequently uses the park, spotted the graffiti on the morning of March 28 on a nature trail post in Warren Lane.

Speaking to Jewish News Jacey Harris said: “Just reminds me that even in the most peaceful and pleasant surroundings, antisemitism crawls in and ruins a perfectly nice dog walk.”

Head warden of Stanmore Common, Simon Braidman has told StanmoreNews that the graffiti has been removed.
