The Berkhamsted community came together last month in aid of promoting a sustainable future for the town.
As part of the national Great Big Green Week, Transition Town Berkhamsted hosted an event at the Civic Centre in collaboration with Berkhamsted Town Council.
The event provided residents with the chance to learn about sustainability from local organisations as well as find out the perks of electric cars.
Emma Sherrington, a member of Transition Town Berkhamsted, said the event was a huge success.
She said: “We have done various different things in the town; the Transition movement is about finding ways each local community can find sustainable ways of living and to reduce our footprint on the Earth.
“We had a nice steady stream of people; lots of people were really interested. It gives you some positivity. It’s nice to think there are solutions and people want to be a part of it.”
