Radlett and District Museum is inviting the local community to get into the festive spirit with two special events this November and December.
They will be hosting an exciting outing to the Abbey Theatre in St Albans for a performance of the much-loved Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life. The show takes place at 8pm on Wednesday November 13, and tickets are available for just £15 per seat.
Looking ahead to December, the museum is also hosting a festive Arts and Crafts Afternoon at Radlett Tennis Club on Friday, December 6, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Aimed at primary school-aged children and younger, the session promises a fun-filled afternoon of seasonal creativity. Tickets cost £7 per child and £3 for accompanying adults, with refreshments included.
In addition to these events, the Radlett and District Museum—a fully accredited institution—is open to visitors every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to midday. Current displays include The Timeline, Cat and Fiddle, and Let’s Not Forget—a poignant collection of Second World War memories from the local parish.
The museum is located behind the Village Institute on Watling Street. Entry and parking are both free of charge.
