Police were called on Sunday, July 10, to assist the fire and rescue service at the scene of a building fire in Cow Lane, Watford.
Road closures were put in place while the incident was dealt with.
The fire, which took place near Watford’s Dome roundabout, is being treated as suspected arson and an investigation is being carried out by police.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 6.50pm yesterday (Sunday) to a derelict building on fire in Cow Lane, Watford. Appliances from Watford (2), Rickmansworth and Garston attended. One derelict single-storey building approximately 15m x 20m [was] alight. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one covering jet [were used]. Fire all out by 7.13pm and stop message came at 7.32pm.”
