A GP tracker created by The Telegraph has revealed that Abbots Langley’s GP surgery is above average in two out of four categories.
According to the tracker, 91 per cent of the Vine House Health Centre’s patients have a GP appointment within one week, which is significantly higher than the local average of 79 per cent.
Also, 68 per cent of patients had “high levels of confidence in their healthcare professional”, which is better than the local average of 63 per cent.
However, only 27 per cent of patients at Vine House Health Centre find it easy to reach the GP by phone, which is lower than the local average of 44 per cent.
Around 64 per cent of patients had a positive experience during their last appointment, which is below the local average of 72 per cent.
The village’s two neighbouring health centres, Abbotswood Medical Centre and Sheepcot Medical Centre, were rated as “well above average overall” and “average overall” respectively.
