A Stanmore primary school recently held its annual summer fair to bring families and the community together.
Whitchurch Primary School held their Summer Fair, organised by the Friends of Whitchurch Parent Teacher Association, on Sunday, July 9.
The event featured a variety of food and drink stalls, activities and family entertainment, with organisers stating that there was something for everyone.
One parent said: “We had such a lovely time; we especially loved the football games and had fun playing with Youngs Football Academy.
“Everyone was friendly and helpful and there was plenty to keep the boys entertained. ”
Canons Ward councillor Ameet Jogia MBE said: “The Whitchurch School Summer Fair was a great success and a unique opportunity to bring the local community together, by supporting local businesses, as well as promoting activities for children.
“Well done to the school, governing body and all the volunteers for all their hard work. Your efforts showed just how much the school means to the local community.”
